Vision 2020 Low Vision Resource Centre (operated by Barrier Free Access (HK) Limited)

Introduction

The Vision 2020 Low Vision Resource Centre was established at the headquarters of the HKSB in July 2003. The Centre was sponsored by the Christian Blind Mission International, the Dark & Light Blind Care, the Sightsavers International and the Hong Kong Society for the Blind. The Center is currently operated by the Barrier Free Access (HK) Limited and it aims to expedite the establishment of low vision clinics and increase the accessibility of low vision services by offering high-quality vision assessment equipment and optical devices at lower cost for the developing countries.

• Provide up-to-date product information and advice on product selection
• Provide delivery services & after-sales customer support
• Assist the development of low vision programmes in developing countries
