Grand Opening of The Hong Kong Society for the Blind Jockey Club Yan Hong Building Open Day on 10 December

The Hong Kong Society for the Blind is most grateful to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for its generous donation in support of the redevelopment of the 40-year-old Yuen Long Home for the Aged Blind. The new building “The Hong Kong Society for the Blind Jockey Club Yan Hong Building” (Yan Hong Building) started to provide service in June 2016.

A Grand Opening Ceremony will be organized on 9 December 2016 at Yan Hong Building, we are grateful to have Mrs Carrie Lam, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Dr Eric Li, GBS, OBE, JP, Steward of The Hong Kong Jockey Club to officiate the Ceremony.

An Open Day will be organized at Yan Hong Building from 10am to 4pm on 10 December. Some floors and facilities will be opened for visit. Visitors are able to see the water-fall garden, experience the “moon-walk” and go to the rooftop happy farm.
