Vision Corner & Optometry Service by Optometrists

Introduction
The optometry service at our Centre is provided by Registered Part (I) optometrists. Our aim is to offer integrated eye examinations for the general public and visually impaired individuals, increasing public awareness of eye care to prevent eye diseases or seek appropriate treatment early on. 

Services
1.    Integrated Optometry Examinations (including: refraction, binocular vision test, color vision, stereopsis, etc.).
2.    Eye Diseases Detection and Referral to Ophthalmology Service at our Centre
3.    Strabismus & Amblyopia Management 
4.    Myopia (short-sightedness) Management Plan 
5.    Low Vision Assessment for Visually Impaired and Low Vision Devices prescription services
6.    Visually Impaired Rehabilitation Subsidy Program (subject to funding availability)
7.    Psychosocial Support and Counselling for Visually Impaired Individuals
8.    Vision Screening Service (for organization only) 

Vision Corner
Vision Corner at the General Eye and Low Vision Centre, which locates at the G/F of HKSB Headquarters in Shek Kip Mei, offers professional eyeglass dispensing services. If clients are advised to prescribe eye glasses to improve their vision after optometry consultation, they can visit Vision Corner for professional advises in frame and lens selections. All optical lenses and frames used at Vision Corner meet specific quality and precision standards, undergoing rigorous verification to ensure wearers experience comfortable and clear vision. Vision Corner also provides myopia control lenses, please consult our optometrists for details.
