28th November is the Flag Day of the Hong Kong Society for the Blind. While everyone is enthusiastic about donating, they can also contribute their own efforts as flag-selling volunteers. We would like to seize this chance to teach you how to facilitate the visually impaired to buy flags!

For the visually impaired, if they have never experienced to buy a flag, they may not be aware the process of flag selling. Volunteers can firstly brief them the whole process. Secondly, is the action of sticking the flag on the body and putting the money into the flag bag. In fact, just like general flag selling, volunteers can first describe where the flag will be attached, such as shoulders or arms, so that the visually impaired will be prepared and will not feel uncomfortable by sudden physical contact. Finally, volunteer can describe the position of where the money to be inserted and at the same time, if necessary, you can also hold their hand to the position and let them insert the money into the flag bag.
