“19 Mok Cheong Street” – local brand produced by people with disabilities

“19 Mok Cheong Street” (『木廠街19號』) is a local brand which is the address of Factory for the Blind, a vocational rehabilitation service unit of The Hong Kong Society for the Blind. Since 1963, the Factory strives to provide a variety of jobs and trainings for people with disabilities, to enhance their workability and facilitate social inclusion. 

Under the brand, there is a series of canvas product which are made by people with disabilities, like canvas bag, pencil case, notebook, handbag, and etc. The design idea combined the diligent attitude of disabled people with the outlook of Factory, to express the spirit of Hong Kong in the past industrial society.

Ten signature products were already launched at Joint Publishing (HK) in September, and we are waiting for your support to create more job opportunities for people with disabilities.
