2023-24 Visually Impaired Student Scholarship

Since 2006, the Zonta Club of Hong Kong East has been actively engaged in the Scholarship project co-organized with The Hong Kong Society for the Blind on a yearly basis. To encourage academically outstanding students with visual impairment to pursue academic or artistic improvements, scholarship funding was awarded to subsidize their purchase of learning equipment or participation in training programs in extra-curricular activities.  Awardees may receive HK$15,000 or a maximum of HK$30,000.

Visually impaired students aged 15 to 30 who have outstanding academic performance can apply the Scholarship by filling in the application form and submit to the Family Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired before 17 Nov 2023.  Application form can be obtained at the Family Resource Centre for the Visually Impaired (Rm. M1, M/F, Mainland Plaza, 223-227 Nam Cheong Street, Shamshuipo, Kowloon) or download from here (Chinese Only). Vetting Committee will inform awardees before 9 Feb 2024.
