Winning Award for Documentary, Three Years in a Row!

A short documentary film titled “Connecting in the time of Distance” produced by our Barrier Free Access (HK) Limited received “Highly Commended Award” in an international film festival. This short documentary participated under the category of “International Entrant-Documentary” in Australia "Focus on Ability Short Film Festival 2022". And this is our third year to receive great reception and recognition! 

“Connecting in the time of Distance” recorded the adventure of a group of young visually impaired to Peng Chau and Tai O of Hong Kong. They try to use a journey to reconnect with the local people, even though everyone is under the mask and feel distant under pandemic time. 

With such great result for three years, we have to thank for the assistance of all the participated visually impaired members, showing their persistence and passion about life in the documentary. We also hope the documentary could bring out a bright and positive side of life even we still face the battle against epidemic.
