A little home story – A dream came true

In the past 3 years, the epidemic was severe, and various anti-epidemic measures restricted all aspects of social contact. As our home strictly followed the relevant guidelines set out by the government, it became very difficult for family members to visit our residents, but this will never break any family tie.

Mo Hing, a resident in her 70s, has not seen her mother for more than three years. She often expressed to us how much she missed her mother who is over 100 years old. After various safety considerations and careful planning, we tailor-made a "My Wish" program to realize Mo Hing’s dream. Accompanied by our colleagues, Mo Hing went to a private nursing home to visit her mother.

The moment they met, the two wept with joy, held each other's hands tightly, whispered to each other with greetings. The scene was touching. The happiness and the laughter on their faces deeply moved us during such a difficult time! And the love and hope between them really strike the bottom of our hearts.

After the visit, Mo Hing said that the time for them to see each other is running out, so this wish trip meant a lot to her, and she is very grateful for our home’s arrangement.

The most cherished and precious moments in our lives are often simply getting together with our family members, greeting and wishing each other!
