Inclusion and Employment of Persons with Disabilities: 2019 Community Fair

Factory for the Blind and The Career Support and Development Centre participated the event “Inclusion and Employment of Persons with Disabilities: 2019 Community Fair” which was supported by the Kowloon City and Yau Tsim Mong District Co-ordinating Committee on Rehabilitation Services under Social Welfare Department on 28 September.

The event aimed to encourage employment of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and foster social inclusion, it provides opportunities for PWDs to showing their products and bring their potential into view.

During the event, we provided our product demonstrations, desktop magnifier trial and guide path game “Walk Through the Dark”.  All demonstrations and interactive activities were welcomed by the VIP guests and the public. VIP guests also appreciated with our handmade products and made with an instant purchase to show their support.
