Congratulations to The Cheers Band and Resource Centre for the Deafblind

Good news! Two videos were sent to participate the “Focus on Ability Short Film Festival 2021” in the category of “International Entrant-Documentary” , organized by NOVA Employment in Australia, both received encouraging results.

“Let Them Shine – Starry Night MV” performed by the Cheers Band, which is formed by a group of visually impaired persons with multiple disabilities living in our Morning Glory DAC cum Hostel and Home of Delight, the MV won the “TOP 5” award among 169 outstanding videos.

In addition, “Tactile Communication Touches Life” produced by Resource Centre for the Deafblind won the “Finalist Award”.

The success of the two videos allow the overseas audiences to know more about our high quality services, they also demonstrated the tough and positive attitude of people with multiple disabilities.
