65th Anniversary of The Hong Kong Society for the Blind

The Hong Kong Society for the Blind (HKSB) was established in 1956 and we are happy to celebrate our 65th Anniversary in 2021. Over the years, we have developed a wide range of services for the visually impaired.

To celebrate the 65th Anniversary, we planned a series of ingenious celebrations and charity events. Regarding the development of Audio Description Service, apart from the screening of “The Way We Keep Dancing” and “One Second Champion” with pre-recorded audio description, another focal movie of the year with pre-recorded audio description will be on air after the fourth quarter this year, a Charity Film Premiere will be organized at the same time. If you wish to know more about the Premiere, please contact Mr Luk at 3723 8209.

In addition, the staff logo design competition is completed and we will organize a staff Smartphone Photo Competetion from June to September, a Webinar on "Transdisciplinary Model Care of Aged Blind- Research to Clinical Practice” on 25 August, a Rubik's Cube inclusion event in October, the reviews and prospects of HKSB highlight services  “Shining Project 2021”, and “2021 Donors Appreciation Ceremony ” in late 2021, which will celebrate our 65th Anniversary with the general public. We cordially invite you to stay tuned to HKSB website, Facebook and Instagram.
