Introduction
As a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive services for
the blind and visually impaired population in Hong Kong, volunteers
are essential assets to ensure the smooth running of our services
in areas of rehabilitation, braille and talking book production,
library services, adaptive technology, children, elderly, ophthalmology
and career support and development services.
Objectives
Volunteers Development Service aims at maintaining and building
up a volunteers pool / database and a referral system that best
match new volunteers to appropriate service units. It also aims
at launching regular promotion programmes, recruitment exercises,
training and appreciation scheme to motivate volunteers to help
in the Society's services, especially in agency functions
Participation of volunteer
Groups or individual volunteers are welcome to join us to help the
visually impaired.

Mondays to Fridays: 8:45 a.m. – 5:35 p.m.
