As deafblind people have different level of visual and hearing impairment, their needs are unique and require different adaptive aids for living. In order to let those who are working for deafblind rehabilitation, carers and families of deafblind know more about what assistive aids can ease the daily living problems of the deafblind, a talk was held to introduce software, hardware and adaptive aids for sight and hearing impairment on 17 March, 2007.
It was our honour to invite professionals from the Tseung Kwan O Centre of the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf, Ebenezer New Hope School, Caritas Jockey Club Lok Yan School and Adaptive Equipment Department of the Hong Kong Society for the Blind to be our speakers.
