Introduction
The Rehabilitation Centre was established in 1965. To meet the
needs of the visually impaired living in the New Territories, another
centre was set up in Tuen Mun in 2002. The two Centres provide comprehensive
rehabilitation programme for visually impaired people aged 16 and
above with service modes of Centre-based and Home-based training.
Objectives
Through rehabilitative programmes, to develop and enhance the independent
living skills of visually impaired people, to help them regain self-confidence
and develop individual potential for reintegrating into the community.

Course Duration
- Depending on the ability of individual client, half a year to
one year on the average.
Applications and Referrals
The Centre accepts individual applications as well as referrals from Government
Departments, Social Service Agencies, Eye Hospitals and Eye Clinics.
