Post Conference Tour to Shanghai
Day one: Hong Kong - Shanghai [Dinner inclusive]
Gather at the Hong Kong International Airport and meet and greet our guide. Our guide will help all participants to check in and distribute all the necessary travel memos. Take the afternoon flight to Shanghai. Local Tour guide will meet and greet all guests at the Shanghai airport with Signage of "2th IMC 2006 Study Tour" Take the coach to city town and dinner at the local restaurant. Return to Hotel for the night.
Day two: Shanghai [Breakfast and dinner inclusive]
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Meet and greet at the Hotel lobby. Start the day workshop at the Shanghai School for the Blind / Site visit. Transfer to the city town and enjoy dinner before returning to the hotel.
Day three: Shanghai [Breakfast, lunch and dinner inclusive]
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Meet and greet at the Hotel lobby. Morning O & M facility visit and following with a lunch at the local restaurant. City tour in the afternoon and visit the Yu Garden which is the best example of classical gardens of Shanghai. Built in 1559, the garden is laid out in an intricate manner. As a paragon of the south Chinese landscaping style of Ming and Qing dynasties, it is a must for all visitors to Shanghai. You may also visit the DuoLun Road where is it's a major scene in the history of literature of modern times. It represents the fashion of culture and humanity of Shanghai in 1920s and 1930s. Follow with a dinner at local restaurant. Before returning to the hotel and for those who would like to continue hopping for the night, a special drop off at Xintiandi is available upon request. Xintiandi convert the city’s unique "Shikumen" houses (literally meaning "stone gate" a special form of architecture for residential purposes) and a maze of narrow alleys.
Day four: Shanghai - Zhujiajiao - Shanghai - Hong Kong
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Meet and greet at the Hotel lobby. Take the morning coach to Zhujiajiao. Located by the east side of Dianshan Lake, together with small bridges over the flowing stream, dense folk residences and old streets, it leads you into a dreamlike world of the ancient town in south China. Return to Shanghai and enjoy a late lunch before departure. The tour will dismiss at the Hong Kong International Airport in the late afternoon.
