General Information:
The Hong Kong Society for the Blind is pleased to announce that the 12th International Mobility Conference (IMC) has been successfully held from 27 November to 1 December 2006 with participation of 350 delegates from 30 countries. Besides, two Post-conference Study Tour to Beijing and Shanghai, China were conducted from 1 to 4 of December 2006. The 12th IMC was taken place at the Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong, China. The Hong Kong Society for the Blind is honoured to be the host organization of the conference.

The International Mobility Conference was first inaugurated in 1979 in Frankfurt. It aims to promote professional exchange in Orientation and Mobility training for the visually impaired persons for their better social integration, and arousal of public awareness in the provision of good access facilities for the visually impaired living in the community.
